Kelam, \u0130slam d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcncesinde Tanr\u0131\u2019n\u0131n varl\u0131\u011f\u0131, insan\u0131n sorumlulu\u011fu, bilgi ve y\u00f6ntem gibi meseleleri ele alarak hem dini hem de felsefi a\u00e7\u0131dan temel bir disiplin olarak geli\u015fmi\u015ftir.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Kelam\u0131n Ortaya \u00c7\u0131k\u0131\u015f\u0131:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><strong>Teolojik Problemler:<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li>\u0130lk \u0130slam toplumunda, \u00f6zellikle Hz. Hem bireysel hem de toplumsal teolojik problemleri ele alarak, \u0130slam d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcncesinde bilgi, varl\u0131k ve ahlak aras\u0131ndaki ba\u011flant\u0131y\u0131 sistematik hale getirmi\u015ftir.<\/p>\n<p>This seminar explored the historical foundations of <em>Kalam<\/em> (Islamic theology), its emergence, and the key theological and philosophical questions that shaped the discipline. As a cornerstone of Islamic thought, <em>Kalam<\/em> addresses issues such as the existence of God, human responsibility, epistemology, and methodology from both religious and philosophical perspectives.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Emergence of Kalam:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><strong>Theological Problems:<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li>After the death of the Prophet Muhammad, early Islamic society faced significant theological challenges, such as the issue of major sins (<em>the status of a person who commits major sins<\/em>) and the debate over free will.<\/li>\n<li>The Kharijites argued that a person committing major sins loses their faith, whereas the Murji&#8217;ah emphasized that faith is independent of actions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>The Relationship Between Faith and Actions:<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li>These debates led to deeper inquiries into the nature of faith: Is faith solely a matter of internal affirmation, or is it completed through verbal expression and actions?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>Free Will and Human Actions:<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li>The Jabariyya held that humans have no free will, while the Qadariyya (early proponents of the Mu&#8217;tazilite school) asserted human responsibility for actions. These debates laid the groundwork for more complex theological systems that examined the attribution of actions to both God and humans.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>Methodology and Topics of Kalam:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><strong>Epistemology and Methodology:<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li>Theologians examined the nature and possibility of knowledge, analyzing sources such as sense perception, reason, and reliable reports (<em>khabar sadiq<\/em>).<\/li>\n<li>They developed epistemological arguments in response to skeptical positions, such as those of the Sophists, who doubted the existence of objective truth.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>Ontology and the Universe:<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li>Kalam addressed the classification of existence (<em>eternal-temporal, substance-accident<\/em>) and developed arguments for the existence and attributes of God.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>Theology:<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li>Core theological topics include the unity of God (<em>tawhid<\/em>), prophethood (<em>nubuwwah<\/em>), and the afterlife (<em>ma\u2018ad<\/em>).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>Conclusion:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Kalam is a discipline aimed at explaining and defending the principles of Islamic faith through rational argumentation.
