The session begins with an overview of al-\u1e6cabar\u012b\u2019s intellectual environment and historical context, followed by an analysis of the structure and significance of <em>J\u0101mi\u02bf al-Bay\u0101n<\/em>. Additionally, the challenges faced in translating his tafsir are addressed.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Main Themes<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><strong>Al-\u1e6cabar\u012b\u2019s Pioneering Role in Tafsir<\/strong>: Al-\u1e6cabar\u012b was one of the first scholars to compile narrations systematically while also developing a structured exegetical methodology. His tafsir is not merely a compilation of reports but also includes linguistic analysis, variant readings (<em>qir\u0101\u02be\u0101t<\/em>), and legal discussions.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Periodization in Tafsir History<\/strong>: Tafsir history is often categorized into the Prophetic era, the era of the Companions, and the T\u0101bi\u02bf\u016bn. Scholars such as Fakhr al-D\u012bn al-R\u0101z\u012b, al-Zamakhshar\u012b, and Ibn Kath\u012br followed his methods either directly or indirectly, making his work a cornerstone of the tafsir tradition.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>Conclusion<\/strong>:<br \/>\nThis seminar provides a comprehensive analysis of al-\u1e6cabar\u012b\u2019s tafsir methodology and the place of <em>J\u0101mi\u02bf al-Bay\u0101n<\/em> in Islamic scholarship. His meticulous evaluation of narrations, integration of hadith and linguistic analysis, and systematic approach make him one of the most significant figures in classical Qur\u2019anic exegesis.
