E\u015fref Alta\u015f, R\u00e2g\u0131b\u2019\u0131n ahl\u00e2k anlay\u0131\u015f\u0131n\u0131 klasik \u0130slam d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcncesi i\u00e7indeki yeriyle birlikte de\u011ferlendirirken, eserin konusu, amac\u0131, yaz\u0131l\u0131\u015f ba\u011flam\u0131 ve kavramsal \u00e7er\u00e7evesini de ortaya koyar. E\u015fref Alta\u015f presents R\u0101ghib\u2019s conception of ethics within the context of classical Islamic thought, explaining the purpose, content, and conceptual structure of the text. R\u0101ghib grounds morality in reason, revelation, and human nature (fi\u1e6dra), and evaluates it in relation to both individual development and social harmony.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Main Themes<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><strong>Purpose and Title of the Work<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>al-Zar\u012b\u02bfa is composed as a &#8220;means&#8221; (zar\u012b\u02bfa) to attain the noble objectives of the shar\u012b\u02bfa. The term zar\u012b\u02bfa functions as a conceptual bridge linking morality to divine law. R\u0101ghib views morality not merely as a set of habits but as the spiritual reflection of the sacred order.<\/p>\n<ol start=\"2\">\n<li><strong>R\u0101ghib\u2019s Ethical Perspective<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>For R\u0101ghib, morality is discovered by reason, supported by revelation, and aligned with human nature. The goal of moral conduct is for the human being to act in harmony with their nature and society, thereby drawing closer to God. According to R\u0101ghib, the two are inseparable\u2014shar\u012b\u02bfa without morality is empty, and morality without shar\u012b\u02bfa lacks direction.
