E\u015fref Alta\u015f analyzes Ibn S\u00een\u00e2\u2019s theory of syllogism in dialogue with the Aristotelian tradition and Islamic thought.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Main Themes<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><strong>Definition and Relation to Demonstration<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Syllogism is a logical form composed of premises leading to a necessary conclusion. Proof (burh\u0101n) is its most powerful type.
