Unity is an essential attribute of being; therefore, &#8220;the One&#8221; is not distinct from being but is inseparable from it. This demonstrates the necessary link Ibn S\u00een\u00e2 establishes between unity and existence.<\/p>\n<ol start=\"3\">\n<li><strong>Unity Among Transcendent Universals<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>&#8220;The One&#8221; belongs to the category of transcendent universals (al-kulliyy\u0101t al-muta\u02bf\u0101liya), such as existence, necessity, and truth.
