SEM\u0130NER \u00d6ZET\u0130<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Dersin Amac\u0131 ve \u0130\u00e7eri\u011fi<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Bu seminer, \u0130mam R\u00e2z\u00ee\u2019nin nazar (d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcnme) teorisini tamamlay\u0131c\u0131 nitelikte olan ve kelam\u00ee epistemolojinin temelini olu\u015fturan \u00e7e\u015fitli meseleleri tart\u0131\u015f\u0131r. Nazar\u0131n farzl\u0131\u011f\u0131, bu farzl\u0131\u011f\u0131n akl\u00ee mi sem\u2018\u00ee mi oldu\u011fu, ilk farz\u0131n ne oldu\u011fu, do\u011fru bilginin nas\u0131l olu\u015ftu\u011fu, hat\u0131rlama-nazar ili\u015fkisi ve cehaletin kayna\u011f\u0131 gibi konular etrafl\u0131ca de\u011ferlendirilir. Seminerin amac\u0131, marifetullah\u2019a giden yolda d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcnmenin zorunlu ve yeterli bir ara\u00e7 olup olmad\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131 ontolojik, mant\u0131ksal ve teolojik d\u00fczlemlerde analiz etmektir.<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><strong>Nazar\u0131n Farzl\u0131\u011f\u0131: Ak\u0131l m\u0131, Nakil mi?<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>R\u00e2z\u00ee, nazar\u0131n farz olu\u015funun dayana\u011f\u0131n\u0131 tart\u0131\u015f\u0131rken iki temel g\u00f6r\u00fc\u015f\u00fc analiz eder: Mu\u2018tezile, baz\u0131 \u015e\u00e2fi\u00ee ve Hanef\u00ee fakihler bu farzl\u0131\u011f\u0131n akl\u00ee oldu\u011funu savunurken, R\u00e2z\u00ee ve E\u015f\u2018ar\u00ee gelenek sem\u2018\u00ee (nakle dayal\u0131) oldu\u011funu belirtir. R\u00e2z\u00ee, akl\u0131n vaciplik belirleyemeyece\u011fini, \u00e7\u00fcnk\u00fc sevap ve azab\u0131n yaln\u0131zca sem\u2018 ile tayin edilebilece\u011fini savunur. Kur\u2019an\u2019daki \u201cBiz peygamber g\u00f6ndermedik\u00e7e azap etmeyiz\u201d ayetini temel al\u0131r.<\/p>\n<ol start=\"2\">\n<li><strong>Nazar\u0131n Bilinmesinin Gereklili\u011fi ve K\u0131s\u0131r D\u00f6ng\u00fc Sorunu<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Mu\u2018tezile\u2019nin nazar\u0131n aklen vacip oldu\u011fu g\u00f6r\u00fc\u015f\u00fcne y\u00f6neltilen itiraz, k\u0131s\u0131r d\u00f6ng\u00fcye yol a\u00e7abilece\u011fidir. R\u00e2z\u00ee\u2019ye g\u00f6re vaciplik, vacipli\u011fi bilmeye dayanmaz; dolay\u0131s\u0131yla nazar\u0131n vacipli\u011fi de nazar\u0131n bilgisine dayanmaz. E\u015f\u2018ar\u00ee gelenek, bu bireylerin Allah\u2019\u0131 aklen bilebilecek olmalar\u0131n\u0131 yeterli bulmaz ve onlar\u0131 y\u00fck\u00fcml\u00fc saymaz. Buna kar\u015f\u0131l\u0131k Mu\u2018tezile ve baz\u0131 Hanef\u00ee fakihler, ak\u0131lla Allah\u2019\u0131 bilmenin farz oldu\u011funu ve sorumluluk do\u011furdu\u011funu savunur.<\/p>\n<ol start=\"4\">\n<li><strong>\u0130lk Farz: Marifetullah m\u0131 Nazar m\u0131?<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>\u0130lk farz\u0131n Allah\u2019\u0131 bilmek mi (marifetullah) yoksa bu bilgiye ula\u015ft\u0131ran d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcnme s\u00fcreci mi (nazar) oldu\u011fu tart\u0131\u015f\u0131l\u0131r. R\u00e2z\u00ee\u2019ye g\u00f6re ama\u00e7 bizzat marifetullah\u2019t\u0131r; nazar ise ona g\u00f6t\u00fcren ara\u00e7t\u0131r. Bu ay\u0131r\u0131m maks\u00fbd bi\u2019z-z\u00e2t ile maks\u00fbd bi\u2019l-araz fark\u0131na dayan\u0131r.<\/p>\n<ol start=\"5\">\n<li><strong>Do\u011fru Bilginin Olu\u015fumu: Adet, Tevell\u00fcd, Zaruret<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Nazardan sonra bilginin nas\u0131l do\u011fdu\u011fu sorusu \u00fc\u00e7 farkl\u0131 g\u00f6r\u00fc\u015fle a\u00e7\u0131klan\u0131r: E\u015f\u2018ar\u00eeler buna \u201c\u00e2det\u201d (Allah\u2019\u0131n yaratma \u00e2deti) derken, Mu\u2018tezile \u201ctevell\u00fcd\u201d (bir fiilin ba\u015fka bir fiili do\u011furmas\u0131) kavram\u0131n\u0131 savunur. R\u00e2z\u00ee ise do\u011fru \u00f6nc\u00fcllerle sonu\u00e7 aras\u0131nda zaruri bir ba\u011f oldu\u011funu, bilginin zorunlulukla olu\u015ftu\u011funu \u00f6ne s\u00fcrer.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Sonu\u00e7<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Bu seminer, d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcnmenin epistemik stat\u00fcs\u00fcn\u00fc, nazar\u0131n ak\u0131l ve nakil temelinde nas\u0131l temellendirilece\u011fini, bilgiye ula\u015fman\u0131n zorunlu muhtelif yollar\u0131n\u0131 tart\u0131\u015farak R\u00e2z\u00ee\u2019nin kelam\u00ee sisteminin mant\u0131ksal b\u00fct\u00fcnl\u00fc\u011f\u00fcn\u00fc ortaya koyar. Epistemik sorumluluk, dini teklif ve marifet ili\u015fkisi i\u00e7 i\u00e7e ge\u00e7mi\u015f \u015fekilde yeniden yorumlan\u0131r.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Purpose and Content of the Seminar<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This seminar discusses various complementary topics related to Fakhr al-D\u012bn al-R\u0101z\u012b\u2019s theory of rational reflection (nazar), which forms the epistemological core of Islamic theology (kal\u0101m). Key issues include whether nazar is religiously obligatory, whether its obligation is rational or scriptural, what constitutes the first religious obligation, the relationship between recollection and rational inquiry, and the nature of ignorance. The aim is to assess whether nazar is a necessary and sufficient method for attaining knowledge of God (ma\u02bfrifat All\u0101h) from ontological, logical, and theological perspectives.<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><strong>Is the Obligation of Nazar Rational or Scriptural?<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>R\u0101z\u012b examines two major views: the Mu\u02bftazilites and some Sh\u0101fi\u02bf\u012b and \u1e24anaf\u012b jurists consider the obligation of nazar rational, while R\u0101z\u012b and the Ash\u02bfar\u012b school maintain that it is scriptural (sam\u02bf\u012b). R\u0101z\u012b argues that reason cannot determine obligation, as reward and punishment are contingent upon divine revelation. He bases this on the Qur\u2019anic verse: \u201cWe do not punish until We have sent a messenger\u201d (Q 17:15).<\/p>\n<ol start=\"2\">\n<li><strong>The Necessity of Knowing Nazar and the Problem of Circularity<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>If the obligation of nazar were based on rational knowledge, it might lead to circular reasoning: one would need to reflect in order to know that reflection is obligatory. R\u0101z\u012b resolves this by claiming that obligation arises once the capacity to reflect is present and that obligation is not conditional upon prior awareness of itself.<\/p>\n<ol start=\"3\">\n<li><strong>The People of Intermission (Ahl al-Fatrah) and Rational Capacity<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>The seminar addresses the responsibility of those who have not received revelation. The Ash\u02bfarites hold that they are not held accountable, even if rational knowledge of God is possible. In contrast, the Mu\u02bftazilites and some \u1e24anaf\u012b scholars argue that reason alone is sufficient to obligate knowledge of God and thus establish accountability.<\/p>\n<ol start=\"4\">\n<li><strong>What Is the First Obligation: Ma<\/strong><strong>\u02bf<\/strong><strong>rifat All<\/strong><strong>\u0101<\/strong><strong>h or Nazar?<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>A key debate emerges over whether the first obligation is knowledge of God or the rational process that leads to it. R\u0101z\u012b argues that ma\u02bfrifat All\u0101h is the ultimate aim (maqs\u016bd bi-dh\u0101tih), while nazar is the instrumental means (maqs\u016bd bi-l-\u02bfara\u1e0d), reinforcing the centrality of divine knowledge as the purpose of religious obligation.<\/p>\n<ol start=\"5\">\n<li><strong>How Does Knowledge Arise? Custom, Causation, or Necessity?<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Post-reflection, the emergence of knowledge is explained through three models: (1) Ash\u02bfarites propose it occurs by divine habit (\u02bf\u0101da), (2) Mu\u02bftazilites invoke the idea of tawallud (generation of one act by another), and (3) R\u0101z\u012b prefers the view that correct premises necessarily yield correct conclusions through a logical necessity.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Conclusion<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This seminar explores the epistemic status of nazar, contrasting rational and scriptural justifications for its obligation, and revisiting how knowledge emerges within the kal\u0101m tradition.
