Dreams are symbolic, <em>ilh\u0101m<\/em> conveys intuitive divine knowledge, while <em>kashf<\/em> refers to a direct unveiling of inner realities through the lifting of spiritual veils.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong> The Source and Nature of <em>Ilh\u0101m<\/em><\/strong><\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000;\"><em>Ilh\u0101m<\/em> is divine information cast into the heart. Sarr\u0101j treats it as a legacy of prophethood\u2014yet emphasizes that it must be judged by the Shar\u012b\u02bfa. It may suggest truth but remains a subjective insight requiring external validation.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong> Interpretation and Limits of Dreams<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000;\">Dreams are seen as subjective and interpretative experiences, unable to provide certain knowledge. Still, they play a role in understanding one\u2019s spiritual state and guiding the <em>s\u0101lik<\/em> (traveler) through the path of refinement.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong> <em>Kashf<\/em> as Experiential Access to Truth<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000;\"><em>Kashf<\/em> is not equivalent to rational or formal knowledge. It involves a personal experiential unveiling, where divine realities are directly disclosed to the Sufi\u2019s heart.
