Kel\u00e2m s\u0131fat\u0131, Allah\u2019\u0131n ezel\u00ee ilim ve iradesinin tecellisi olarak de\u011ferlendirilir ve Kur\u2019an\u2019\u0131n ezel\u00eeli\u011fi savunulur.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #333333;\"><strong>Main Themes<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><span style=\"color: #333333;\"><strong>The Divine Attribute of Speech (Kal\u0101m)<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #333333;\">S\u0101b\u016bn\u012b asserts that God&#8217;s speech (<em>kal\u0101m<\/em>) is eternal and not analogous to human speech. It is an intrinsic attribute of God, not composed of sound or letters. The Qur&#8217;an, in this view, is the uncreated speech of God.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #333333;\"><strong>Distinction Between Internal and Verbal Speech<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #333333;\">Two forms of speech are highlighted:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #333333;\"><em>Kal\u0101m nafs\u012b<\/em> (internal speech): The eternal, unspoken word within God.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #333333;\"><em>Kal\u0101m laf<\/em><em>\u1e93\u012b<\/em> (verbal speech): Its temporal manifestation for human understanding.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #333333;\">This distinction helps maintain both God\u2019s transcendence and the communicative function of the Qur&#8217;an.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #333333;\"><strong>The Qur&#8217;an\u2019s Nature and Divine Transcendence<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #333333;\">The Qur&#8217;an is not a created entity but a manifestation of the eternal speech of God. To consider it created implies attributing temporality to God&#8217;s essence, which contradicts the principle of divine transcendence (<em>tanz\u012bh<\/em>).<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #333333;\"><strong>Sunni\u2013Mu<\/strong><strong>\u02bftazil<\/strong><strong>\u012b Dispute<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #333333;\">The seminar contrasts Sunni views with the Mu\u02bftazil\u012b claim that the Qur&#8217;an is created. The Sunni position upholds the eternity of the Qur&#8217;an as an essential attribute of divine speech, marking a major theological divergence.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #333333;\"><strong>Epistemic Function of Divine Speech<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #333333;\">God\u2019s speech not only conveys knowledge but also sets laws and reveals divine intent. It serves as the foundational medium through which God relates to humanity.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><span style=\"color: #333333;\"><strong>Conclusion<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #333333;\">This seminar analyzes S\u0101b\u016bn\u012b\u2019s views on the divine attribute of speech in alignment with Sunni theology.
