SEM\u0130NER \u00d6ZET\u0130<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Seminerin Amac\u0131<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Bu seminerin amac\u0131, <em>Etika<\/em>\u2019n\u0131n son k\u0131sm\u0131nda ortaya konan \u201cakl\u0131n rehberli\u011finde etik ya\u015fam\u201d anlay\u0131\u015f\u0131n\u0131 yorumlayarak Spinoza\u2019n\u0131n en y\u00fcce iyilik kavram\u0131n\u0131 ve insan\u0131n mutlulu\u011fa eri\u015fim imk\u00e2n\u0131n\u0131 de\u011ferlendirmektir. Spinoza\u2019ya g\u00f6re etik, insan\u0131n do\u011fas\u0131na uygun bir ya\u015fama ula\u015fmas\u0131 i\u00e7in bilginin d\u00f6n\u00fc\u015ft\u00fcr\u00fcc\u00fc g\u00fcc\u00fcn\u00fc temel alan bir \u00f6zg\u00fcrle\u015fme s\u00fcrecidir. Ethics is not a system of external commands but a transformation of life grounded in knowledge. The seminar explores the development of active affects, the unity of virtue and happiness, and the attainment of the intellectual love of God as the highest good.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Main Themes<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Sovereignty of Reason and Active Life<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000;\">Reason frees the mind from the dominion of passive passions and strengthens human power, thereby enabling true freedom.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>The Mind\u2019s Share in Eternity<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000;\">Since the human mind is a mode of God\u2019s attribute of thought, part of it participates in the eternal and is not destroyed with the body.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Ethical Relations and Social Nature<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000;\">Humans thrive through cooperation, friendship, and communal reasoning, which enhance collective and individual power.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Unity of Virtue and Happiness<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000;\">Virtue is acting from one\u2019s essential nature under the guidance of reason, and thus virtue and happiness are inseparable.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Intellectual Love of God<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000;\">The highest affect arises from understanding God\u2019s necessary order. Through rational insight, the individual escapes the passivity of the passions and becomes an active being aligned with the necessity of Nature. Virtue is therefore not a duty imposed from outside but the unfolding of human power and freedom.
