For Spinoza, ethical life ultimately leads the human being to participate in the eternal order of God\u2013Nature. Therefore, the seminar focuses on the nature of the mind\u2019s eternity, the highest forms of rational life, and the significance of the intellectual love of God as the culmination of ethical existence.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Main Themes<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Eternity of the Mind<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000;\">The eternal aspect of the mind is independent of bodily existence.
