Ha\u015flako\u011flu, Logos\u2019u \u201c\u00f6l\u00e7\u00fcyle konu\u015fan evrenin dili\u201d olarak tan\u0131mlar. \u0130nsan bu dili dinleyebildi\u011fi \u00f6l\u00e7\u00fcde evrenin par\u00e7as\u0131d\u0131r. Parmenides\u2019te de\u011fi\u015fim reddedilirken, Herakleitos de\u011fi\u015fimi \u00f6l\u00e7\u00fcyle s\u0131n\u0131rlar. Focusing on the fragment \u201cFire lives by measure and is quenched by measure,\u201d O\u011fuz Ha\u015flako\u011flu explores how balance governs both the cosmos and the human soul. The seminar seeks to reveal measure as the ethical and ontological foundation of being.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Main Themes<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong> The Measure of Fire<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">\u201cFire lives and dies by measure.\u201d Here fire symbolizes the living order of the cosmos \u2014 the rhythmic balance of transformation. The law of measure is the law of existence itself: nothing endures without proportion.<\/span><\/p>\n<ol start=\"2\">\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong> Justice and the Unity of Opposites<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Justice, for Heraclitus, is not external law but the inner equilibrium of being. The invisible harmony is stronger than the visible; thus, strife and opposition are not chaos but the conditions of unity.<\/span><\/p>\n<ol start=\"3\">\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong> Logos as the Principle of Harmony<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><em>Logos<\/em> is the rhythm through which the world speaks. To listen to Logos is to participate in the order of the cosmos. Measure becomes not restriction but resonance \u2014 the balance of wisdom and moderation.<\/span><\/p>\n<ol start=\"4\">\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong> Ethical Measure and Inner Balance<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Ha\u015flako\u011flu connects measure to the virtue of temperance. The soul, like fire, must maintain proportion; excess leads to inner dissolution. Moderation thus becomes both a moral and ontological necessity.<\/span><\/p>\n<ol start=\"5\">\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong> Heraclitus and Parmenides<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Heraclitus\u2019 measured flux complements Parmenides\u2019 unchanging unity. The two stand not in contradiction but in correspondence: one affirms the stability of being, the other its rhythmic transformation.<\/span><\/p>\n<ol start=\"6\">\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong> Excess and Cosmic Retribution<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">\u201cEven the sun will not overstep its bounds; if it does, the Erinyes will find it out.\u201d Every act of excess disturbs the cosmic balance. Measure is both natural law and moral limit \u2014 the boundary where existence sustains itself.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Conclusion<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The tenth seminar interprets Heraclitus\u2019 philosophy as a doctrine of balance: being exists through proportion.
