The session also examines the historical roots of these words, their semantic development and the moral responsibilities attached to speech and action.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Main Themes<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><strong> The Linguistic and Ethical Dimensions of Good and Evil<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>The historical layers of the word \u201ciyi\u201d (good) and its semantic shifts are discussed. Goodness is portrayed as constructive and order-producing, while evil is associated with deficiency, corruption and loss.<\/p>\n<ol start=\"2\">\n<li><strong> Explanations on Hay\u0131r (Goodness) and \u015eer (Evil)<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Hay\u0131r is shown as a force that increases benefit and stability, whereas \u015fer represents destruction and harm. The Qur\u2019anic background of these concepts is referenced, and their cultural implications are examined.<\/p>\n<ol start=\"3\">\n<li><strong> Reward, Profit, Loss, Share and Destiny<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Ecir (reward) is explained in relation to the consequences of deeds. Some terms broaden their meanings over time, while others narrow into specific contexts. Sound\u2013meaning correlations are highlighted.<\/p>\n<ol start=\"5\">\n<li><strong> Human Actions, Responsibility of Speech and Consequences<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Every action and every word has a result. Truthful speech elevates, while falsehood destroys. Good and evil inevitably return to the doer, emphasizing personal responsibility and moral awareness.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Conclusion<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The twelfth seminar reveals the deep ethical and linguistic structure of <em>Kutadgu Bilig<\/em>.
