Metnin kelimeleri ve kavramlar\u0131 tarih\u00ee ba\u011flamlar\u0131yla a\u00e7\u0131klanm\u0131\u015f; bilginin insan\u0131 y\u00fckselten, cehaletin d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcren; dilin ise hem y\u00fccelten hem felakete s\u00fcr\u00fckleyen \u00e7ift y\u00f6nl\u00fc do\u011fas\u0131 ayr\u0131nt\u0131l\u0131 olarak ortaya konmu\u015ftur. B\u00f6ylece hem dilsel hem k\u00fclt\u00fcrel hem de ahlaki bir b\u00fct\u00fcnl\u00fck i\u00e7inde beyitlerin anlam alan\u0131 a\u00e7\u0131\u011fa \u00e7\u0131kar\u0131lm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Purpose of the Seminar<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This seminar aims to explain the relevant verses of Kutadgu Bilig, focusing on zodiac signs, seasons, the creation and value of the human being, the nature of knowledge and understanding, and especially the virtues and faults of speech. Historical semantic layers, usage distinctions, and cultural implications of the vocabulary are examined to provide both linguistic and conceptual insight.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Main Themes<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><strong> Cosmic Order and the Seasons<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>The rise of Capricorn, Aquarius and Pisces is associated with the brightening of the sky and the formation of the four seasons. The elements of fire, water, wind and earth form a system built on mutual opposition. The cycle of the seasons pushing one another is interpreted as a reflection of divine order.<\/p>\n<ol start=\"2\">\n<li><strong> Human Creation, Worth and Knowledge<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Human creation is discussed through the notions of generation, creation and selection. Knowledge, understanding, intellect, wisdom, intuition, heart and speech are presented as the qualities that give humans their value. The distinctions between human\u2013man\u2013people are used to explore individuality, social existence and human nature. Knowledge is portrayed as the force that unties knots, elevates the person and grants esteem within society.<\/p>\n<ol start=\"3\">\n<li><strong> Ignorance as Illness<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Ignorance is described as a perpetual illness. The cure for ignorance is the wise person and knowledge itself. The metaphor of \u201cproblem as knot\u201d highlights knowledge\u2019s ability to resolve disorder both in thought and society.<\/p>\n<ol start=\"4\">\n<li><strong> The Merits and Faults of Speech<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Speech is the interpreter of knowledge and a source of honor for humans. Its dual nature\u2014worthy of praise and blame\u2014is emphasized. Excessive talk is harmful, while articulate and measured speech is beneficial. Speaking is portrayed as a responsibility; ignorant speech leads to ruin. Good words grant longevity and esteem, while harmful words bring destruction. Speech is likened to a lion that must be controlled or it will destroy its master.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Conclusion<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The seminar provides a comprehensive analysis of cosmic order, human creation, the essence of knowledge and the central role of speech through the verses of Kutadgu Bilig. Words and concepts are explained within their historical context, revealing how knowledge elevates, ignorance degrades, and speech has the power to both uplift and destroy.
