SEM\u0130NER \u00d6ZET\u0130<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Seminerin Amac\u0131<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Bu seminerin amac\u0131, Fars\u00e7ada mastar yap\u0131s\u0131n\u0131 ve basit ge\u00e7mi\u015f zaman\u0131n kurulu\u015f mant\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131 sistemli bi\u00e7imde a\u00e7\u0131klayarak \u00f6\u011frencinin fiil \u00e7ekimi, k\u00f6k analizi ve zaman olu\u015fturma becerisini g\u00fc\u00e7lendirmektir. T\u00fcrk\u00e7e ile yap\u0131lan kar\u015f\u0131la\u015ft\u0131rmalar, dilsel farklar\u0131n anla\u015f\u0131lmas\u0131na katk\u0131 sa\u011flam\u0131\u015f; \u00f6rneklerle desteklenen \u00e7ekimler \u00f6\u011frencinin sistemli fiil \u00e7\u00f6z\u00fcmleme becerisini geli\u015ftirmi\u015ftir.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Purpose of the Seminar<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The purpose of this seminar is to explain the structure of the Persian infinitive and the formation of the simple past tense in a systematic way, strengthening the student\u2019s ability to analyze verb roots, derive stems and form tenses. The lesson introduces the nature of the infinitive, then uses the derivation of the <em>bone mazi<\/em> (past stem) to build the formula for the simple past tense.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Main Themes<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><strong> Structure and Function of the Infinitive<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>The Persian infinitive is formed with the suffix <em>-en<\/em>, which corresponds to the Turkish <em>-mek\/-mak<\/em>. Verbs such as diden, \u015feniden, nu\u015fiden and ne\u015fasten illustrate that the infinitive expresses a raw, timeless and subjectless action.<\/p>\n<ol start=\"2\">\n<li><strong> Concepts of Pi\u015fvend and Pasvend<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>The terms pi\u015fvend and pasvend are introduced as the Persian equivalents of prefixes and suffixes. Examples such as diden \u2192 did, \u015feniden \u2192 \u015fenid, nu\u015fiden \u2192 nu\u015fid and ne\u015fasten \u2192 ne\u015fast reinforce the process.<\/p>\n<ol start=\"4\">\n<li><strong> Comparative Perspective with Turkish<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>In Turkish, removing the infinitive suffix <em>-mek\/-mak<\/em> produces the imperative form (g\u00f6r, duy, i\u00e7, otur), whereas in Persian removing <em>-en<\/em> produces a bare action form without any subject marking. This distinction clarifies the structural differences between the two languages.<\/p>\n<ol start=\"5\">\n<li><strong> Formation of the Simple Past<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>The simple past is formed by combining the past stem with the set of hidden subject markers: <em>em, i, -, im, id, end<\/em>. Since the third singular takes no marker, the bare past stem automatically represents the third singular.<\/p>\n<ol start=\"6\">\n<li><strong> Conjugation Practice<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Using the verb \u015feniden as an example, the forms \u015fenidem, \u015fenidi, \u015fenid, \u015fenidim, \u015fenidid, \u015fenidend are produced and explained: I heard, you heard, he\/she heard, we heard, you (pl.) heard, they heard.<\/p>\n<ol start=\"7\">\n<li><strong> Final Remarks and Exercises<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>The simple past is introduced by its Persian name <em>maziye sade<\/em>, and students are asked to apply the same operations to at least five additional verbs.
