SEM\u0130NER \u00d6ZET\u0130<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Seminerin Amac\u0131<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Bu seminerin amac\u0131, Sadreddin Konev\u00ee\u2019nin metafizik d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcncesinde <strong>imk\u00e2n kavram\u0131n\u0131n<\/strong> merkez\u00ee rol\u00fcn\u00fc a\u00e7\u0131klamak ve \u00f6zellikle \u201cm\u00fcmk\u00fcn varl\u0131k\u201d, \u201czorunlu varl\u0131k\u201d ve \u201cimk\u00e2ns\u0131zl\u0131k\u201d kategorilerinin tasavvuf metafizi\u011fi a\u00e7\u0131s\u0131ndan nas\u0131l temellendirildi\u011fini ortaya koymakt\u0131r. Ekrem Demirli, imk\u00e2n\u0131n hem varl\u0131k d\u00fczeninin a\u00e7\u0131klanmas\u0131nda hem de Tanr\u0131\u2013\u00e2lem ili\u015fkisini anlamada kilit bir kavram oldu\u011funu vurgular. B\u00f6ylece seminer, imk\u00e2n\u0131n yarat\u0131l\u0131\u015f\u0131, bilgiyi ve varl\u0131k d\u00fczenini a\u00e7\u0131klamada vazge\u00e7ilmez bir ilke oldu\u011funu a\u00e7\u0131k\u00e7a g\u00f6stermektedir.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Purpose of the Seminar<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The aim of this seminar is to explain the central role of the <strong>concept of possibility (imk\u0101n)<\/strong> in Sadreddin Konev\u00ee\u2019s metaphysics. Ekrem Demirli examines how the categories of \u201cpossible being,\u201d \u201cnecessary being,\u201d and \u201cimpossibility\u201d form the structural basis of Sufi metaphysics. The seminar shows that possibility is the key through which Konev\u00ee clarifies both the order of existence and the relationship between God and the cosmos.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Main Themes<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><strong> The Foundational Role of Possibility in Metaphysics<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Possibility is the ontological ground between the Necessary Being and the cosmos. It is neither pure being nor pure non-being; rather, it is the openness in which existence can manifest. All contingent beings originate within this field of possibility.<\/p>\n<ol start=\"2\">\n<li><strong> The Ontological Position of the Possible Being<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>A possible being is neither necessary in itself nor condemned to nonexistence; its existence depends entirely on the divine will. All created beings, including humans, belong to this realm of possibility and realize their essence within it.<\/p>\n<ol start=\"3\">\n<li><strong> The Relationship Between the Necessary Being and the Cosmos<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>The relationship between the Necessary Being (God) and possible beings is one of absolute dependence. The cosmos continuously receives its existence from God. Without the concept of possibility, this relation cannot be rationally explained, for possibility provides the metaphysical ground for the emergence of the cosmos.<\/p>\n<ol start=\"4\">\n<li><strong> Impossibility and the Domain of Contradiction<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Impossibility refers to that which cannot receive existence under any condition. Understanding impossibility is essential for defining the limits of what is possible. Metaphysical thought requires grasping both the breadth of possibility and the boundaries of impossibility.<\/p>\n<ol start=\"5\">\n<li><strong> Human Knowledge and the Awareness of Possibility<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>The human being is the only creature capable of understanding the realm of possibility. This understanding reveals both the structure of existence and the truth of human creation. Gnosis begins when the possible being recognizes its own degree of possibility.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Conclusion<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The tenth seminar demonstrates that possibility is not only an ontological but also an epistemological cornerstone of Konev\u00ee\u2019s metaphysics. Possibility makes the relationship between God and the cosmos intelligible, and the possible being embodies this relation. The human being is uniquely able to comprehend this structure.
