Tasavvufun amac\u0131 a\u015f\u0131r\u0131l\u0131\u011f\u0131 reddetmek de\u011fil, hakikatin z\u0131tl\u0131klar i\u00e7indeki d\u00fczenini idrak etmektir.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Purpose of the Seminar<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The purpose of the fortieth seminar is to explain how opposites such as <em>cem\u2013fark<\/em>, <em>manifestation\u2013hiddenness<\/em>, <em>contraction\u2013expansion<\/em>, and <em>appearance\u2013concealment<\/em> coexist in Sufi metaphysics; how the human being unites these opposites within himself; how Konev\u00ee grounds his understanding of perfection, balance, and rectitude; and how the relationship of dominance and defeat among the divine names produces the world\u2019s continuous re-emergence.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Main Themes<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><strong> Coexistence of Opposites: Cem\u2013Fark, Manifestation\u2013Hiddenness, Contraction\u2013Expansion<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>The main emphasis of the seminar is that truth can only be understood through the unity of opposites. Cem represents the perception of unity, while fark represents multiplicity. Manifestation is the appearance of truth; hiddenness is its concealment. Contraction and expansion are corresponding states. The human being gathers all these in himself and therefore becomes the most comprehensive being in existence.<\/p>\n<ol start=\"2\">\n<li><strong> The Dominance\u2013Defeat Relation of the Divine Names<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>The divine names are in constant states of dominance and defeat over one another. Whenever one name becomes dominant, the world takes on the state corresponding to it; when another becomes dominant, this state changes. This process is not static but perpetual. Hence the world is renewed at every moment, and the human being experiences these changes through his inner states.<\/p>\n<ol start=\"3\">\n<li><strong> The Human Being as the All-Comprehensive Entity<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>The human being is the <em>kawn\u012b j\u0101mi\u2018<\/em>, the entity that gathers all levels within himself. Therefore he is both the closest and the most complex being in relation to truth. Balance and rectitude in the human being appear through the ordered manifestation of divine names. Human perfection is the ability to carry opposites without disturbing their harmony.<\/p>\n<ol start=\"4\">\n<li><strong> The Continuity of Manifestation and the Renewed Expression of Truth<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Manifestation is continuous rather than singular. Truth appears, hides, and appears again. This cycle forms the real meaning of time. To the extent that the human being perceives this flow, he understands truth. The continuity of manifestation explains why the world is never static but always in a state of creation.<\/p>\n<ol start=\"5\">\n<li><strong> Perfection, Balance, and Rectitude<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>According to Konev\u00ee, perfection is the ability of the human being to carry opposites without breaking them. To preserve unity within multiplicity and multiplicity within unity is true perfection.
