Osman\u2019\u0131n \u015fehadetiyle ba\u015flayan i\u00e7 sava\u015flar, b\u00fcy\u00fck g\u00fcnah i\u015fleyenin stat\u00fcs\u00fc, m\u00fcmin\u2013fas\u0131k\u2013kafir ayr\u0131m\u0131nda ya\u015fanan belirsizlik ve dini kavramlar\u0131n anlam kayb\u0131na u\u011framas\u0131 ilk b\u00fcy\u00fck teorik problemi yani \u201c\u00f6zg\u00fcrl\u00fck ve insan fiilleri\u201d sorununu ortaya \u00e7\u0131karm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r.<\/p>\n<ol start=\"3\">\n<li><strong> B\u00fcy\u00fck G\u00fcnah Tart\u0131\u015fmas\u0131 ve \u00d6zg\u00fcrl\u00fck Problemi<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>M\u00fcrtekib-i kebire tart\u0131\u015fmas\u0131, kulun fiillerinin faili olup olmad\u0131\u011f\u0131 sorusunu g\u00fcndeme getirmi\u015ftir. Ayetlerin \u00f6ncesi, sonras\u0131, b\u00fct\u00fcnl\u00fc\u011f\u00fc ve Kur\u2019an\u2019\u0131n kendi i\u00e7inde \u00e7eli\u015fkisiz olu\u015fu vurgulan\u0131r. Kudret Allah\u2019tand\u0131r fakat fiilin olu\u015fumu kuldaki ak\u0131l ve tercih ile ger\u00e7ekle\u015fir. Risale, \u00f6zg\u00fcrl\u00fck ve fiiller tart\u0131\u015fmas\u0131n\u0131n \u0130slam d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcncesindeki en erken sistematik form\u00fclasyonlar\u0131ndan biri olarak dikkat \u00e7ekmektedir.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Purpose of the Seminar<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This seminar aims to clarify the historical context of Hasan al-Basr\u012b\u2019s Treatise on Predestination, the intellectual and political environment in which it emerged, and the early theological debates on major sin, human agency, freedom, divine will, and responsibility.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Main Themes<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><strong> Historical Context of the Treatise<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>The text belongs to the early Islamic period and reflects the political tensions of the Umayyad era. The shift of interpretive authority after the Prophet and the challenges brought by expansion shaped the debate on predestination.<\/p>\n<ol start=\"2\">\n<li><strong> Origins of Kal\u0101m<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Kal\u0101m arose primarily from internal Muslim crises. The civil wars and the uncertainty regarding the status of the grave sinner led to the first major theoretical problem: human freedom.<\/p>\n<ol start=\"3\">\n<li><strong> Major Sin and the Problem of Freedom<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>The question of whether the sinner remains a believer forced scholars to examine whether humans truly perform their acts.
