Nazar\u0131n kel\u00e2m\u00ee y\u00f6ntem a\u00e7\u0131s\u0131ndan ni\u00e7in vazge\u00e7ilmez oldu\u011fu a\u00e7\u0131klanm\u0131\u015f, kitab\u0131n ilerleyen b\u00f6l\u00fcmlerinde ele al\u0131nacak konulara giri\u015f niteli\u011finde bir \u00e7er\u00e7eve sunulmu\u015ftur.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Purpose of the Lesson<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The purpose of this lesson is to introduce the life of C\u016bwayn\u012b, his works, his place in the discipline of kal\u0101m, and the structure of the book Irsh\u0101d; and to show, in general terms, which problems the text addresses and how it approaches them.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Main Themes<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><strong> The Life And Intellectual Status of C\u016bwayn\u012b<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>C\u016bwayn\u012b, known as Im\u0101m al-\u1e24aramayn, is the teacher of Ghaz\u0101l\u012b and one of the key figures in the development of kal\u0101m. He lived during the Seljuk period, was affected by the political circumstances of his time, and was later supported by Ni\u1e93\u0101m al-Mulk, becoming the head of the N\u012bsh\u0101b\u016br Ni\u1e93\u0101miyya. He is regarded as the last great representative of early kal\u0101m and one of the founders of the classical phase of the discipline.<\/p>\n<ol start=\"2\">\n<li><strong> C\u016bwayn\u012b\u2019s Works And His Contribution to Kal\u0101m<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>He authored many works in jurisprudence and kal\u0101m. Al-Burh\u0101n, al-Sh\u0101mil, al-Irsh\u0101d and al-\u02bfAq\u012bda al-Ni\u1e93\u0101miyya are among his principal books. Irsh\u0101d is a shortened but not purely abridged version of al-Sh\u0101mil, containing new arrangements and additions. His methodological approach initiated a transformation within Ash\u02bfar\u012b kal\u0101m, strengthening the use of logic and rational argumentation.<\/p>\n<ol start=\"3\">\n<li><strong> The Systematics of Kal\u0101m And the Structure of Irsh\u0101d<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Irsh\u0101d begins with nazar and knowledge; then moves to natural philosophy; then to theology, divine attributes, the theory of names, the beatific vision, the creation of acts, capacity, moral action, prophethood, the unseen matters and finally the imamate. The text reflects a more systematized form of kal\u0101m and is one of the structured examples of classical kal\u0101m writing.<\/p>\n<ol start=\"4\">\n<li><strong> The Significance of Nazar And the Kal\u0101m Method<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Nazar, the fundamental method of kal\u0101m, is the process of reasoning from what is known to what is unknown. It consists of arranging and organizing evidences to reach certain knowledge. Kal\u0101m nazar differs from Sufi, philosophical or illuminationist forms of reasoning, because it aims to ground the principles of faith through rational proof. According to C\u016bwayn\u012b, the first obligation upon a morally responsible person is to perform the sound nazar that leads to the knowledge that the world is originated.<\/p>\n<ol start=\"5\">\n<li><strong> Sources of Knowledge And Types of Nazar<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>The sources of knowledge are the senses, transmitted reports and reason. The senses provide certain knowledge; reason processes sensory data and reaches new truths by inference. Nazar may be sound or corrupt. Sound nazar leads a person to the knowledge indicated by the evidence; corrupt nazar leads to ignorance, doubt or false conclusions. The views of the Suman\u012bs and the Sophists are criticized in this context.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Conclusion<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This seminar presented the intellectual world of C\u016bwayn\u012b, his contributions to kal\u0101m, and the general structure of Irsh\u0101d.
